Elevated Photo Booth now offers our clients custom guest books. We saw a demand for this value added service & wanted to wow our clients & their guests. The guest book is unique and custom tailored to each event. At the end of the event the client is presented with a beautiful memory book that will last a lifetime.

This custom book was was featured at our last event and it was well received. The value came at the end of the night when the guest book was presented to the bride and groom. The expression on the bride's face was priceless. They walked away with a memory book of their special night shared with all of their friends and family. Goal achieved!

The Design Process

Every design backdrop project consists of several distinct steps before any physical work on the backdrop begins. These steps are a crucial part of the process to form a theme and execute the perfect backdrop for a client.

The most important step starts with a collection of design inspiration. I usually create an inspiration board to analyze material, color and shape. This week is a great example of how those steps where executed. We are working on a backdrop for an industry party that is taking place this week at the Tahoe Mill. This event is an opportunity for us to showcase the photo booth, so we wanted to create a unique backdrop using material we already have on hand.

All of these images shaped the inspiration of our design. The theme quickly became a Native American inspired composition. We took a natural approach to this backdrop and created a handmade piece. Stay tuned for our next blog and we will share the final reveal of this backdrop.

Celebrating Shane McConkey's Legacy

This year we had the pleasure of setting up the Elevated Photo Booth at the Shane McConkey Legacy Gala as well as the PMS after party at Squaw Valley. The theme of the Gala this season was the Rocky Horror Picture Show. The PMS after party featured an incredible Queen cover band and attendees came dressed in their best glam rock attire. As you might imagine, this made for some legendary moments behind Elevated Photo Booth curtains. It was such a privilege to capture amazing people having fun celebrating Shane's life while donating to the Shane McConkey Foundation.

The Shane McConkey foundation was founded in recognition of the worldwide community of skiers, adventurers and everyday people who share a passion for life. Sherry McConkey has done such an incredible job preserving Shane's spirit and legacy through the foundation and the incredible events she organizes annually. Fundraising efforts through the foundation have led to donations of over $37,000 to organizations including Tahoe Truckee Unified School District, Make-A-Wish Foundation, and numerous other local non-profits. The goal of the foundation is to carry on Shane McConkey's legacy through random acts of kindness, charitable giving, and to inspire others to make a difference in the world at large. Elevated Photo Booth is the product of months of comprehensive, thought out hard work. The entire booth was custom built & designed to be customized by the client. The look we achieved has taken on a theatrical vintage style, but can be made to blend into any themed event or special occasion party.

Elevated Photo Booth is a fully enclosed photo booth that ranges in sizes from 6'x6' to 8'x10'. Inside the booth professional studio strobes, a customized touch screen interface, & a customized backdrop create the life of the party at every event we attend.

Outside the booth guests are welcomed to a chic vintage style pleasantly draped design. A 32" flat panel monitor displays an ongoing slideshow throughout the event. On site printing is an option with custom print designs ranging from 2"x6" to 6"x8". We have hand selected fun and outrageous props catering to any kind of event.

Last month Elevated Photo Booth made its trial debut in our collective office space, Tahoe Mill. Everything functioned flawlessly & was especially a hit with the children at the party.
